Yes. Luminary displays show notes based on standards set by iTunes and other common podcasting apps (for details, see How Luminary Uses RSS). We display show notes as follows:
- For the expanded view of show and episode notes, we take the <content:encoded> XML field in your RSS feed. This field contains links and rich formatting.
- If <content:encoded> does not exist or is blank, we will display the <description> field.
- We support the following HTML tags within the expanded episode and show description views within the Luminary mobile apps: <p>, <ol>, <ul>, <li>, <a>.
Luminary displays links that podcast creators include in the RSS fields we support (for details, see How Luminary Uses RSS). These links are “clickable” on the Luminary mobile apps. On our web app, links are available to listeners via copy-and-paste. We will roll out an update soon to support “clickable” links in our web player.
If for some reason your show’s information is not displayed or enabled as you intend, please contact us at email@example.com.
